Nothing special on this post, still testing the camera. The last time that I've held a camera was when I was in first year college. And it was those old cameras where you use a roll of film and stick it at the back of the cam. Thank goodness digital cameras and memory cards were invented so taking pictures with this camera is really easy. The close up shots look crappy though coz I don't have a steady hand so the pictures turned out blurry ^^;
Got this Revoltech Gurren Lagann Series 050 a few weeks back. It stands just about 12 cm tall but it can do a wide range of poses, thanks to 19 joints and 54 points of articulation. It comes with 2 pairs of hands, an extra head, a core drill, a large boomerang and a base stand.
I finally got some time to try my camera Nikon D40 and immediately loved it. So easy to use and the picture quality is great (at least for a noob like). I've been running around taking pictures left and right and haven't got much time to update the site ^^;
Kurogane no LineBarrel now has an english section on it's website.
Nico Nico announced that it will delete videos that infringe the copyrights of some Japanese video companies. This will affect user-generated MAD videos.
I saw this very nice image of Haruhi and I fell in love with her all over again. I'm a very big fan of Suzumiya Haruhi and you'll see lots of her images all over this site. If you don't like her, well I feel sorry for you ^^.
Brief info, Haruhi was created by Nagaru Tanigawa and voiced by Aya Hirano (and Wendy Lee in the english version). She is the leader of the SOS Brigade and with the mission of finding aliens, espers and time travelers. Unknown to her, she actually enlisted an alien (Yuki), an esper (Itsuki) and a time traveler (Mikuru) in her club. As for Kyon, he just got dragged into the club because Haruhi felt comfortable with him. The three extraterrestrials keep watch over Haruhi because she holds a power that can create or destroy reality.
This time it's Yoko time, the song "Boing vs. Boing" (take a good guess why) drags the Gurren team to the samurai era. It's like Samurai Champloo meets Gurren Lagann. I love how the whole video was made and the song reminds me of Lupin III and Cowboy Bebop. Yoko and the grown up Nia looks really delicious on this one. YouTube video clip inside, it's low quality of course. Check out the official Gurren Lagann website for hi-res version. It's worth it.
I have a bad habit of reminiscing stuff of the 80s and 90s. Since I grew up during those years I find those decades extra special. Today because I got stuck listening to 90s song via YouTube, I don't have any anime news.
Some of the artists that I've listened to are Guns N' Roses, Pearl Jam, Black Sabbath, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Green Day, Rage Against the Machine, Metallica, Blind Melon, Aerosmith, U2, The Cranberries, Bush and more. Oh and Beatles too. Yeah, yeah that's old I know. Click on the image for the videos.
